RSVP Sorted

Zilla, Johan and Willem are the three equal partners of Sorted Design International, a design studio they started in Pretoria in 2006 and now run from Cape Town. Willem is a designer and storywriter, Zilla is a designer and illustrator, and Johan is a designer for motion.

Over the years the studio produced invitations, event pages and guest communication for its clients, and RSVP Sorted grew out of that event work.

RSVP Sorted is an online platform for invitations, RSVPs and guest lists, owned and built by Sorted Design International in Cape Town. It is made for events companies and the teams that run events for other people's brands, and works for a single event too.

The guest list goes in from a spreadsheet, with columns matched to fields and likely duplicates shown before anything is added. Each event gets its own RSVP page with its own logo, header image, colours and questions, and every guest gets a personal link, with an optional PIN. Sub-events such as a dinner or a golf day can have their own capacity and RSVP question.

Invitations are built from email blocks or your own HTML, previewed at phone and desktop width, tested, then sent or scheduled. Reminders go to guests who have not answered, and replies that come back by email land in one inbox, matched to the guest. If a client needs to sign off, approvals hold every email until it is approved.

A live dashboard shows sent, delivered, opened and clicked emails, plus dietary and access counts without names. Guests who said yes receive a QR pass, and the door screen checks them in with search, undo and a printable backup list. Final lists download as CSV or Excel.

For events companies, each client and each event is kept apart, with client logins that control what each person sees and does. Guest data is hosted in South Africa, handled under POPIA and deleted automatically after the event. Sorted can also set up and run the invitations, RSVPs and guest list for you on the same platform.
