Personal training, injury rehab and nutrition coaching in Cape Town's East City

Jason plans every programme around the person in front of him, injuries included, because he rebuilt himself after two of his own. The first session is free, so you can see whether the fit is right before you commit.
Jason Jeffcote

Jason Jeffcote was born in Cape Town, grew up in KwaZulu-Natal and came back to Cape Town as a teenager. In KZN he was building a sports career until he was hit by a truck and broke both legs. Rehabilitation turned into a calling, and he went on to study personal training, sports science and sports nutrition.
Later he came through a physical attack that needed brain surgery. A healthy, active life carried him through both, for his body and his mind, and it is the reason he trains other people now.
Jayfit
Jayfit is Jason's personal training practice in Cape Town. He trains clients in a private gym at Ryda Fitness in the East City, and coaches others online.
Training starts with getting to know the person: their goals, their fitness history and what keeps them going. From there Jason builds a programme around them. The options cover general fitness, bodybuilding with proper form and technique, weight loss and maintenance, injury rehab and boxing for agility, speed and footwork. Injuries are planned around rather than trained through, and sessions run on flexible hours.
Sessions are 45 minutes, one-on-one or in small groups of two to four. Online coaching runs through an app with video support, so clients can keep going from anywhere. Visitors on holiday in Cape Town can book short-term training to keep their routine.
Nutrition is part of the work. Jason looks at what each client eats, builds meal plans around their training and lifestyle, and keeps them flexible enough for meals with family and friends.
The first session is free. Book it on WhatsApp on +27 82 770 9919 or on Instagram at @jayfit_za.
