Independent South African fashion and design store on Bree Street, Cape Town

Daniel Sher opened the store to give independent South African fashion and lifestyle brands one shared home in the city centre, alongside a handful of international labels. Good Good Good, his own clothing label, is sold here next to the store's own Duck Duck Goose T-shirts.
Had a great experience at this shop. The staff member was incredibly helpful and friendly, which made the visit even better. They have some really original T-shirt designs, it’s so cool to support a local brand that offers something unique. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something different!
Amazing experience! My boyfriend was able to get the Masego X good good good limited edition shirt and was very happy.
Well done! To this amazing store in Breë. Really good service and super good materials used. Special S/O to store manager.
Daniel Sher
Daniel Sher was born in Johannesburg and moved to Cape Town in 2014, where he worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young. Alongside the job he ran a small clothing label, me.plus.one, and he already had the name Good Good Good for the brand that came next.
He joined his wife's family clothing factory, part time from 2011 and full time from 2016, and later started his own manufacturing facility, Together MFG. For years he wanted a shop on Bree Street, close to the bagel shop where he ate his lunches, and he opened Duck Duck Goose there in December 2020. He chose a multi-brand store over a shop for his own label alone, so that other South African designers could grow beside it.
Duck Duck Goose
Duck Duck Goose is a multi-brand store at 120 Bree Street in Cape Town. It opened on 15 December 2020 and is home to a mix of independently owned South African fashion and lifestyle brands, with a handful of international labels alongside them.
Good Good Good, Daniel's own label, anchors the shelves with T-shirts, shirting, jackets and trousers, next to the store's own Duck Duck Goose T-shirts. Around them sit caps, bags, socks, jewellery, kids' clothing, books and magazines, and toys and objects from labels such as Alex Zono, Bangla Begum, Kartik Research, Gottlob, Easy Listening and Solid Waste.
The name comes from the playground game. Each brand in the store is a golden duckling, and it becomes a goose when a customer buys from it. A mosaic floor spells out the game in small tiles, with the goose in gold in front of the changing room. Over the years the shop has also hosted parties, talks and a T-shirt design competition.
The store sells online and ships worldwide. International orders go by FedEx and DHL, and gift cards are available.
Visit the shop at 120 Bree Street, open Monday to Saturday, or order at duckduckgoosestore.com.
